Between the chilly air conditioning indoors and the Texas heat wave outdoors, I always have to layer creatively during the "summer" (I know it's still technically spring but we had a 90 degree day this past week). I've been wearing this Forever 21 jacket a lot lately as a cover-up because it's so light and goes with everything in my closet.
I feel a need to do something more creative with my hair. Anyone have any good suggestions for 5-minute or less hair tutorials for hair that refuses to stay curled?

  6. How about a half up-do? As in, where you only put the top half of your hair into a ponytail (or hair clip), & then leave the rest down?

It works great with straight & curly hair alike, & only takes like 2 seconds:

    Hope you like it =]

  7. My hair hates a curl. It's like they are sworn enemies or something. And I hear ya about the cold vs warm. Layers are my best friend, too, because I never know what to expect.

  11. Love this look; the colors are beautiful!

Don't know how you feel about buns, but you definitely have enough hair to do a sock bun, and those only take a minute. If you leave it in overnight, you may even get some curl (I've heard it works for more stubborn hair). Also, Beth of BJones Style does great hair tutorials. This one is for a big, voluminous bun that doesn't require curling first:

  13. @Borjana: The thicker heels makes walking comfortable in them...the thinner sandal straps are okay but might hurt your pinky toes a little bit if you've got wide feet. All in all they aren't bad.

  19. i have found that spraying your hair with a light layer of hair spray first before curling helps the curls stay in longer
