A bunch of pictures that never made it to the blog until now...
1. Star, owner of Dog & Pony boutique at the American Icon x BleachOnline yard sale. I love her entire outfit and also the detail of her wearing her keys as a necklace.
2-12. Other random snaps at yard sale. I wanted everything but walked away with this floral skirt, an amazing vintage rock shirt to add to Tim's massive tee collection, a velvet floral blazer that could either spell disaster or fabulosity (I declare that a word), and two vintage belts (I've got quite a collection of them, many cheap high street pieces such as ones from f21 are ill-fitting on hourglass types and so I buy XL/L and cinch it at the waist).
13. Tiffany, writer for Nylon Daily Austin & Austin is Burning (writer for Bleach, model, amongst many other amazing trades), with her supersized feather earring...
14-18. Behind-the-scene snaps of a photoshoot I did with friends. Love Rose's stack of watches. More on the shoot later. As you can see, a lot of my personal wardrobe clothes/jewelry and pieces from Zara were pulled for this shoot. Wait until you see me with curly hair and no dark eye makeup!
19-20. New shoe chairs found at a garage sale this weekend. Instant love. Sorry for the shitty picture of me but it's mainly to show you guys how happy I am. :) I love all things cheesy and outrageous.
21. A short feature on me found on Austin Monthly. Funny how I get more features from my hobby (fashion) than my real life career path (engineering/science).
22-23. Carb overloading indulgences. No words necessary.

I love the arrow bangle and the elephant bracelet. All the jewelry in these images is just plain gorgeous :O Wish I could afford stuff like that.

Yasmeen: haha SO true. I feel the same but hopefully that'll change if I can get this damn paper published!!! I'm a huge feminist myself, although I try not to use that particular term since I feel like the main tenants put forth by leading feminists are in a way sexist themselves since they urge females to behave in ONE particular way (to stop being mothers/wives and go work) instead of encouraging complete freedom of choice. That's a rant saved for another day though.
