vintage blazer, thrifted blouse, american apparel tutu skirt, forever 21 necklace/bangles, asos clutch, river island shoes
Sorry for the long absence! These were actually taken last Thursday but I never got around to editing and posting them. I've been researching, jewelry-making, going to garage sales (yay for $1 jewelry piles that have signed gold pieces!) and taking a few days off away from technology in general (which is highly unusual since I usually have a laptop and cell with me at all times). I bought these amazing shoes a while back in both gold and solid black. Totally worth it! I'm loving all block heeled shoes right now since they're much easier to walk around in than skinny little heels.
This skirt is like wearing cotton candy... and yes I have it in both white (worn here) and peach... excessive? Yes.
I wore this out on a little dinner date with Tim at our favorite thai place and then went on a grocery trip. Perhaps that makes us boring people, to be going to HEB instead of the fashion show and party I got invited to on Thursday night...but I've been kind of taking a break from all the local fashion events in order to regain some of sanity. Trust me, I'm going to need the break for the upcoming hailstorm of thesis due dates, research and final exams. Eek...
PS. In case you're wondering, I am indeed wearing a full pair of shorts under this skirt. It is THIS pair.
PPS. Finally I made a formspring account. I will try to answer all of the questions if you wish...

Your skirt is soo pretty, I've been wanting it forever but can't justify another tulle skirt in that color.
ReplyDeletegoing out for thai food is one of our favorite date nights - and we usually end that with a movie at home. i guess we're a boring couple, too!
ReplyDeletei'm loving those heels - i've been thinking about ordering from river island, how was the quality of the shoe?
veronika: They are real leather, there's no noticeable flaws that I noticed. There is visible stitching down the two sides but that's expected.
ReplyDeleteWow this is a BEAUTIFUL outfit. I love the tutu skirt.. floral blazer. Just perfect. XX
ReplyDeleteKiller heels!
ReplyDeletegreat look, those shoes are fabulous! I adore your blazer! I'd been thinking of one and then found a similar one at Goodwill, except with seafoam green lining <3
