Yay I'm alive!
Time passes by fast when I'm busy... suddenly I glance up and it's almost been a week since I've posted. Nope, I haven't abandoned the blog but certainly right now it has taken the back burner as I'm finalizing my plans for post-graduation. Finishing a chemical engineering and a biochemistry degree (which do not nearly overlap as much as one would expect them to) in 4.5 years is no joke...especially when a tedious 20-30 hrs of research is involved. To those that have asked, I'm graduating in December of this year (99% sure, fingers crossed!). I decided to do a bit more research and less courses this semester to help me make the decision for whether to graduate school for a PhD or not.
Today, after a long hard week of working out and research (I literally could not get out of bed on Wednesday morning after doing leg strength training the night before; I had to email my research mentor that I wouldn't be in until much later that day) I was ready for some gluttony and fun. Luckily I saw a Groupon earlier this week for $20 for $40 worth of The Melting Pot and thought of Tim. Soooo tonight we got to try two different types of chocolate fondue (cookies n' cream and the orginal with chocolate and peanut butter) with a smorgasbord of delicacies: cheesecake, oreo-dipped marshmallows, fruits, brownie bites, pound cake, and more. Mmmmm...

ReplyDeleteI like the playful layers here. I have a pretty snug tank dress from F21 that I was considering wearing a tank over. This post convinced me that it's a good idea! Your gold jewelry looks so lovely, and I love that watch!
