shakuhachi blouse, charlotte russe skirt, dolce vita shoes, garage sale necklace ($1!), forever 21 earrings, Asos clutch
Back to regular posting now. I need to start having someone else help me with the blog since I have so much to do! Style X and SXSW were amazing for the most part and I've been going from 6 am to 2 am for the past few days. This outfit was for the second day of Style X, when I had no energy and/or willpower to wear anything constricting but still had to look presentable. I ended up loving the combination of coral pink, muted gold, and rustic brown together, along with the play in proportions and textures.
I totally over-shopped at the American Apparel Flea Market (merchandise around 60-80% off) so expect more AA pieces to pop up! Usually I can't afford their stuff since a skirt is around $70 but all of the skirts were $8 at the sale so I stocked up and got...7 different skirts. Also, I got some blouses and basic tees. Oops? I love how I walked in with every intention to purchase more basic shirts but walked out with yet more not-so-basic skirts! Damn sale mania mentality. I actually ended up stalking the AA restocking staff right outside their stock room so I could snatch whatever they brought out by following them to the rack. Is that normal behavior? Probably not. Do I own too many skirts to justify? Most definitely. ;)
Oh, and this necklace is part of loot from the $1 jewelry pile at the city wide garage sale. I'm in love.
