Since it was freezing today, I wore a wool sweater and wool tights underneath...which ended up being way too warm indoors but decently comfortable for at least an hour outdoors. I've finally found a skirt that's actually long enough to be considered floor length for me; it's even long enough to wear with heels! I guess it has to do with the taller average Brit height? We stopped by the San Saba park to take some shots while waiting for our call-in order for dinner, which ended up up being the perfect backdrop for this flowy skirt.
I had a blast last night out at dinner celebrating a friend's birthday and woke up way too early to my 8am class, followed by a whole day of running around campus getting my class schedule fixed and visiting the hospital. I'm still giggling at last night's dinnertable joke: "What's brown and sticky?....a stick." It might have been mentioned as the worst joke on earth but I guess I'm forever five-years-old since I found it hilarious...

  4. Love love that skirt. And the rings look so cool but on how earth do you wash your hands? I can't stand getting soap or wetness under my rings and have to take them off. Yours would take a while. :)

  6. Wow, that skirt is ridiculously beautiful! Can't believe it was found on clearance: definitely a hidden gem. I love the juxtaposition between the ultra-girly skirt and your tough leather jacket. You're so blessed to be tall! I can definitely forget about the skirt; I'm only 5'3 haha!

  21. That skirt is gorgeous (I'm about to go look for the same one :X) And it seems like you're in ring heaven! I keep losing all my rings...Like I'll take them off to wash my hands and misplace them...and then they'll be gone for weeks! Ugh.

Love this outfit though. You're very good at being stylish in absurd weather :D

  26. Bestie of capricious club was right. You really do have a knack mixing rocker chic and feminine ensembles. :) about the stick joke...I might not have laughed like you but that's probably because if I were in that situation, I might have been the one saying the joke. *sigh* I'm such a cornball.

  36. I LOVE your skirt so much that I went to asos and bought it, too! Sadly, it is MUCH to long on me and I had to bring it in for costly custom alterations. Is "But I love it!" enough reason to justify this? haha

    Thanks for the style inspiration!
