Everything's from forever21.
The forever21's contest on chictopia basically wants a picture of me wearing forever21 stuff and carrying a sign of who's my sweetheart. Therefore these embarassingly cheesy pictures of me strutting around the land in front of my bf's house carrying a sign. I figured I'll post some outtakes so you gals/guys can have a chuckle at my cheesy smile in some of these. Here's how I described my message on chictopia:
"The sign I’ve made is a mix of simple, childish and playful…much like my relationship with my bf. When we’re together, our combined age is probably not even 10 and we giggle at fart jokes and make pictures out of food on our plates."
Anyway, the other pictures are of pictures randomly taken throughout the day... and of example food faces I've made in the past. Heh. First one is a random one made at a fancy steak restaurant (heh), next is my depiction of my bf Tim, and the last one is of the ummm hand gestures Tim made today while we're at the BBQ. Two most commonly used hand gestures used in rock n' roll. Speaking of BBQ, that sign in the front of the restaurant is awesome (probably offensive to some vegetarians/vegans so sorry in advance).
UPDATE:
A. Nuheila tagged me to list 10 things that make me happy (and try to do them today, I definitely already plan on doing 2 and I've done 1):
- stilettos/fashion in general: this one's kind of a no brainer due to my blog title. Dressing up makes me feel accomplished and makes my day ten times better no matter how awesome or shitty the day went.
- chemistry: I'm a chemical engineering/biochemistry double major, so I have to like it, or else I wouldn't be able to tolerate taking semester after semester of only science/math courses. Doing transport phenomena problems make me calm... math/science might still not be 100% black and white but it is so much more objective than most things. 1 +1 always equals 2, and that is soothing to me.
- peanut butter: it's my favorite food of all time. It's usually the first thing that comes to mind when certain friends of mine (they are probably reading this post) talk about me. I already "did" this one today (I eat it every morning).
- art: I love drawing... I took a fashion illustration class and I love to just doodle but I'm not that great at it.
- music: I can't believe this came after peanut butter but um I listen to music 24/7... I love everything, from chinese/russian/indian/south american/U.S./british pop to classical strings (I play the violin) to rap mixtapes (I prefer dirty south and hyphy style rap) to alternative/indie/hard rock to metal to arabic trance to salsa/merenge/reggaeton. I help my bf with his record company, so liking music is crucial.
- internet: youtube, facebook, blogging, online comics (xkcd, cyanide and happiness), funny videos in general.
- baking: I looooove baked goods! My favorite are really gooey/chewy/underbaked cookies with some kind of chocolate chips in them but I love it all. Screw it I just enjoy EATING in general. As I'm typing I'm munching on honey nut cheerios.
- revolutions throughout history: not that millions of dying people make me happy but I am fascinated with reading about them.
- my siblings: they're aged 6 and 9... and I love them to death.
- my bf!!!! This one's also a no brainer. I mean, if anything just scroll up and read about what I wrote on our relationship in the second paragraph. When I look at this list of things that make me happy, he likes a lot of those same things too. He's intelligent (he's a really awesome lawyer), he's a metalhead (so we clash on music stuff sometimes since he doesn't really like his truck to be playing taylor swift music but we understand each other's obsessions with music), he used to run a jewelry business with his dad and his mom is an artist so he appreciates art, he loves the exact same kind of dessert as I do (and loves pb almost like I do), he loves science shows like "how it's made" and "timewarp," and he loves immature jokes. He's also the super awesome photographer responsible for taking my pictures and actually being the first person in history to make me smile naturally for photographs.
