Slumming it is when you purchase half of your forever 21/wetseal stuff from the clearance rack. Rock n' roll vibe is what I revert to when nothing else works out for me...there's something comforting about that perfect leather jacket and strategically-slashed dress. Although I kind of forgot to pack any black shoes so I decided these clearance wetseal pumps would add a little splash of color to my outfit...I also forgot to pack very much jewelry (or perhaps I've misplaced them all is the more appropriate phrasing here) for the trip so I've had to live on what's at the bottom of my luggage bag. I will still love this dress even when the rock n' roll look is considered passé in the fashion world...
I'm so ready to finish off this semester. Busiest semester in college yet. Some times I wonder why I did chemical engineering when I would have graduated in 2 years if I only did biochemistry...oh wait it's because I'll actually get a job with chemical engineering... hrm. Ok enough ranting and back to studying.
Oh and to those that said how I don't really have one particular style: well yeah I kind of wear whatever I'm comfortable with, but I definitely gravitate towards anything unique or with awesome detailing...if that counts as a style. ;)

  5. Love the jacket, but above all I think I like how you chose the red heels - they really add the right amount of color to your outfits. And wow, Chem Engineering, I honestly don't know how you do it.

  10. Sometimes "mistakes" (like forgetting black shoes) turn out for the better. Well, with biochem you would need to go to school many more years before it would be worth much. Engineering is one of the few degrees you can work with a bachelor's. Advanced degrees are nice but you can still work, especially with a degree from a good school with an extensive network. I'm sure you know all that, just blabbing here.

  11. anon: true, I never did want to go to med school so it was either a different major from biochem or academia...and neither sounds very appealing. I will get a masters either immediately or after some working experience buuuut I'm pretty sure I'm not the R&D or PhD science type
