Store pictures taken by me in Cypress Vanguard, a collective boutique of independent Austin designers. Love the decor and the By Jeannie razorblade earrings shown above. Also, they had measuring tape instead of garlands for the christmas tree! How cute.

I couldn't resist taking pictures of the pretty leaves outside CPE (chemical petroleum engineering) building. Red leaves will always remind me strolling around the parks in Beijing when I was little.

Mark di Suervo's Clock Knot sculpture fittingly placed outside the chemical engineering building. If you're interested read more about the work HERE. In short he was inspired by balance of forces/vectors so the sculpture is perfect sitting right in the center of all of the engineering and physics buildings. I see it every day as the CPE is basically my second home.

Little pictures I drew to put inside my apartment. I'm by no means an artist as I've never taken an art course so these were just quick sketches to fill up the empty spaces in my apartment in a budget-friendly way. I plan on purchasing real art as soon as possible. :)

New scores from Buffalo exchange, a BRAND NEW Anna Sui blouse with tags still attached and the sought-after elbow patch blazer I've been talking about on the blog...both for under $50.
In lieu of a normal outfit post, I'm posting a few snapshots taken this week. I've been grading papers and catching up on sleep instead of worrying about outfit shots so.... yeah. I rarely post much about my personal space so here's a tiny glimpse of my room again. Don't you just love the decor in the first few photos? I want to decorate my house in shades of teal, seafoam, aqua and gold now. I was finally given a tour by none other than my friend Anslee of SavannahRed to the new collective boutique that is Cypress Vanguard. Afterwards we went to a little dinner date to Thai Kitchen and I got my extra spicy pad kee mao, as usual (yes I've branched out but I still like this dish the best!).
I'll be back to normal outfit posts tomorrow. Hope everyone's having a fantastic countdown to the holidays.
