vintage coat, forever 21 blouse/shorts, ebay necklace, topshop clearance wedges
I got this coat along with another similar one in black this past week and I'm currently obsessed with both of them...love love love anything that makes me feel glamorous. I'm pretty sure it's meant to be an evening coat for the 1930's but I love wearing it over shorts and blouses for a bit of added color.
Last night I had a great time at a friend of our's welcome home concert. It's so awesome to see a mish-mash of rockstars from about at least 7-8 different famous bands spontaneously playing a slew of rock/metal songs...all having fun jamming out with friends and families.
Thanks to everyone for the warm comments; I really appreciate them. I've had a rough time near the end of the semester but this blog and other artistic outlets have probably kept me from going insane. ;)
Oh, and I'm still having trouble with how to wear this coat with skirt/dresses. Anyone got any suggestions?

Hmm... maybe tie everything together with a belt? Like, wear a skirt/dress, then the coat, then the belt? I think a wide one would look chic!
