vintage dress, thrifted belt, thrifted shoes, bellydancing convention necklace, amrita singh bangles
Just a quick post before we make the drive from San Saba to Austin. Taken a while back... I had this dress and never got to wear it since it's totally over the top with its utter sheerness.
I get a lot of questions about random pieces of jewelry. My favorite place to get them are at places like gothic shops, bellydancing conventions/shops, street vendors, and the city wide garage sales we have here. Speaking of, who's going to the one being held tomorrow? I am!!

  2. omg Diya the dress looks fabbbbb on you! I was wondering how you would style it & was worried it might be too sheer for everyday wear. Maybe wear it over a short black tank dress? It looks so fantastic on you! xo

  12. As you know, I do love it when you wear a maxi dress. This one is particularly wonderful - the print, the cut and the sheerness. Beautiful.

  24. That dress... BEAUTIFUL. The print, wow!

But it's the necklace that has me totally gutted. That is one seriously amazing necklace. What a find!

Seeing you with your hair down is such a treat.

I'm beginning to think that Texas really has a draw... All these crazy good pieces on a strict budget that you somehow manage to find... I wish I could bag myself some!
