vintage blouse, f21 skirt, vintage belt/gold accessories, asos clutch, colin stuart heels
If you're in Austin, come see me model at the Treasure City Thrift Fashion Show. :) Today was simple: three cheese tortellini + basil butter sauce, green tea, French Vogue, and John Legend music in the background (I listen to almost every genre, but only the best 5-10% of it). Not much to write about except I decided to wear this skirt from the other day's post as a "petticoat" of sorts under this recently-purchased vintage blouse.... I kind of am digging it!!!!

Super cute. I like how you reworked it with the longer top/coat over top. Beautiful colors together as well.

I love the idea of lacy petticoats. It seems way too hot for me to wear petticoats now, but the idea definitely appeals to me for the future...

That blouse is stunning. Great vintage find.
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt. I'd have never guessed it was a F21 find. I think dressing up something cheap with something a little more interesting or luxurious (like your blouse here) really makes all the difference. I'm all about mixing high and low - it keeps my bank account happy too!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, very pretty blouse & skirt :) Great combo with the clutch.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, I adore the skirt-as-petticoat thing, and the fact that you live in Austin (I really wanna relocate there someday). And what better way to compensate chewed up tiny fingernails than some blinging fabulous nail art to distract from them?? I think you can pull it off :~)
ReplyDeleteYour legs look AMAZING! The combination of the blouse and skirt looks great too! Easy way to make something a wee bit longer.
ReplyDeleteThe details on your blouse are beautiful.
