floral in blue

painterly floral
H&M dress, Old Navy top, f21 necklaces (3 mixed together) + belt, modcloth shoes
So yeah, wearing the same couple pairs of shoes over and over again. I need some new plain black closed-toed (round or almond toe shaped) pumps... around 3-4 inch heel. Anyone seen any good ones? This spring break has been nothing but running around all stressed out for sxsw music/fashion events, plus hwk from school. Gross.
PS. I'm a candidate on chictopia as April's Style Icon... if you like my style and has a chictopia account, please help me out by becoming a fan of me on chictopia!!!  (yeah I've said this the last 10 posts... oh well)
and as always, tell me if you want to exchange links ;)
btw, I'm curious... do YOU dress better now that you have a fashion blog? I know I have!

  12. i love florals too (:

i haven't really been dressing better since i've started my blog. i've more like... broadened my view of clothing in general. i have a greater variety of clothes and i know how to mix-and-match a bit better than i did before. (i was very emo-punk in gr 9-10... i wish i can just take back those years of dressing up as a rockerchick of my life haha!) now i know how to dress strong, yet not highlight everything with skulls or black black black.

  13. They probably have some of those kinds of pumps at UO? Or check out endless or zappos...they have soooo many shoes there!!

I've dressed better in the sense that I've started to understand my own style and now I focus more of my shopping, instead of buying a bunch of random things and then thinking "i have nothing!!"

.. my blog has made getting dressed some days the most stressful time ever. and then I stop caring, and get dressed in what is comfy and won't show off the oodles of cat hair I walk out of my apt bathed in.

  48. Thanks for dropping by my blog! Yeah.. 100 books is a lot; I don't think I'm going to get there. I've stopped reading for awhile because I've been so busy with other stuff. OH well...

Anyways...WOW. I went through your older posts and I love your style. For this outfit I really like the dress and the necklace. I went to H&M yesterday and I did not see anything like it. You look amazing.

I don't exactly have a fashion blog but I have noticed that I try to dress more nicely ever since I started blogging in general. But I've realized I tend to just dress in comfy lazy clothes. I don't have enough stylish pieces to do a fashion blog... yet. =P And I don't really go out much so I'd feel like a loser if I just dressed up really nice to only sit at home all day long. LOL.

You've got yourself a new follower. Can't wait to see what else you've got.
