I thought we failed at doing justice to capturing the coolness of the flooded Texan plains so I took additional shots of it without me in them...

So this was actually a 70's dress bought on etsy that I've cropped ((vintage purists are going to hate me) to a mini length... worn here as a blouse. I know there's a huge run down these polka dot tights (and I've ordered more on the way) but I actually kinda like that one imperfect detail...
Thanks to everyone for helping me out with lodgings/restaurants in NYC. Also thanks for exchanging links! I will be updating links either later tonight or tomorrow. Also, a huge thanks to budgetbabe for twittering about my blog!

I'm not a purist when it comes to vintage, unless it is YSL or Chanel or something of that caliber.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, I think that it is smart to update a garment to make it work today. And this dress/blouse is so gorgeous!

your style is of the chicest and most rich nature, but isn't pretentious, and this i admire. there's a real charm to the photos and sense of enjoyment that comes from your relationship with clothes. I'll be following your blog at once. Hope your well darling x
